Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal mix
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    8 oz. grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in large skillet.
    Mix first five ingredients.
    Pour half the batter into greased skillet.
    Add in layers, meat, peppers, onion and cheese, then top with remainder of batter.
    Bake one hour at 375\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8.
