Maple Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. maple or maple flavored syrup
    dash of salt
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Sprinkle pecans evenly on bottom of pie shell.
    Pour egg mixture over pecans. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes or until set.
