Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. white Karo
    1 c. rich milk
    3 c. raw peanuts
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar,
    Karo,\tmilk
    and
    peanuts
    in\ta heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, then simmer on low, low heat for 1 1/2 to 2
    hours, uncovered.
    Stir occasionally.
    When it forms a soft ball in
    cold water, set off fire.\tAdd oleo and vanilla.
    Beat until creamy and drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
