Baked Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 red salad potatoes
    1 large sweet onion
    1 lb. bacon (may use less)
    3/4 to 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
    Hellmann's mayonnaise
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until fork-tender.
    Dice in 1-inch pieces when cool.
    Dice onion.
    Add onion and cheese to potatoes.
    Fry bacon and crumble; add to potatoes.
    Add enough mayonnaise until it mixes well.
