Pecan Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pecans
    1 egg white
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Chop pecans finely.
    If a grinder is used, put sugar along with the nuts.
    If using blender, whirl for only a second, then put in sugar and blend together.
    Fold the nut-sugar mixture into the stiffly beaten egg white and roll into balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheet, allowing plenty of room between.
    Press a half or quarter pecan on each.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Watch carefully, baking time depends on how finely the nuts are chopped.
