One Way Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or margarine
    1 (16 oz.) can cherries
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter in an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.
    Drain cherries.
    Set aside and reserve juice.
    In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
    Add milk.
    Pour onto the melted butter, but do not stir.
    Spoon cherries on top of mixture, then sprinkle with 1/2 cup reserved juice. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or cold.
