Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
    Dip tops in granulated sugar.
    Place balls, sugar side up, 3 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
