Cherry-Peach Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1 (1 lb. 8 oz.) jar cherry pie filling
    1 (1 lb.) can peach halves, drained
    milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
Preparation
    Stir water, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves into pie filling in 10-inch skillet.
    Add peaches; bring to boil, add cherry pie filling.
    Add milk to egg to make 1/2 cup; stir into biscuit mix to form soft dough.
    Drop dough by tablespoonfuls on top of boiling fruit.
    Cook over low heat for 10 minutes; cover skillet and cook 10 minutes more.
