Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. butter or oleo
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, slightly beaten with fork
2 tsp. vanilla
1 small pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients; add nuts.
Melt shortening, mix in brown sugar.
Stir in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture. Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan.
Sprinkle chips over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 20-25 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Let cool before cutting. Store in airtight container to maintain freshness.
