Patio Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (or try cream of chicken or celery)
    1 soup can water
    6 to 12 chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks or breasts)
Preparation
    Put rice on bottom of buttered large 9 x 15-inch Pyrex dish. In saucepan, heat cream soup, water and onion soup mix.
    Pour hot soup mixture over rice, being sure all rice is covered.
    Lay chicken pieces on rice and soup mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, covered.
    Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer.
    (Can brush chicken with melted butter before last 20 minutes of baking.)
