Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
1/2 stick butter
2 slices lemon or lemon flavoring
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Peel and cut potatoes.
Place in casserole dish; cover with sugar and salt.
Sprinkle spice over sugar.
Cover with pats of butter.
Twist slice of lemon and place peel in with potatoes. Sprinkle flour over potatoes.
Add water to mixture.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
Baste potatoes frequently with syrup.
