Banana Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, room temperature
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease 2 tins (holding 6 muffins each) with soft butter.
    (I use vegetable shortening.)
    In a bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar and egg, mixing thoroughly.
    In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Make a hole in the center of the flour mixture.
    Pour the butter mixture into the hole; then mix it.
    Pour into muffin tins, filling about 3/4 full.
    Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Insert a toothpick in the center.
    The toothpick should be clean.
