Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef (lean)
    2 c. tomatoes, drained
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can hot chili beans
    1 1/2 c. rice
    1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onion and pepper until beef is browned; drain.
    Add remaining ingredients except rice and cheese.
    Stir well.
    Pour into casserole, cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
