Blueberry Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. blueberries
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. flour
    salt
Preparation
    Pour washed blueberries into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole and sprinkle with the 1/4 cup sugar.
    In mixing bowl, cream shortening, the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg together.
    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add this to creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Test.
    Spoon out while hot and serve with cream, whipped cream, ice cream or milk.
