Herbed Meat Balls Burgundy(Casserole Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 lb. bulk sausage
    4 slices white bread
    1/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. grated onions
    1 tsp. salt or more to taste
    1/2 tsp. fines herbes or combination of thyme, basil, sage, rosemary, marjoram and oregano)
    4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    1/3 c. Burgundy wine
Preparation
    Combine bread and milk; let stand 10 minutes.
    Mix well with fork to a fine mixture.
    Add meat, onions, salt and herbs; mix well and form into balls; wetting hands frequently will prevent sticking.
    Roll balls in seasoned flour (salt and pepper).
    Brown in 2 tablespoons of butter or drippings in skillet.
    Place balls in 2-quart casserole dish.
