Ingredients

1 small bunch broccoli
2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 or 1 c. medium-sized chopped onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Trim broccoli, pare stems and cut stems into 1/4-inch slices. Separate flowerets into bite-size portions.
Heat butter and broth to boiling in a large saucepan.
Add broccoli, onion, salt and pepper.
Return to boiling, lower heat, cover and simmer until broccoli is tender, about 10 minutes.
