Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large cooking apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. sugar, divided
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. margarine
Preparation

Arrange apple slices evenly in pastry shell.
Combine cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar.
Stir well, and sprinkle mixture over apples. Combine flour and remaining sugar, stir well.
Cut margarine into flour mixture with a pastry blender (I use my fingers, works well) until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
Yields one 9-inch pie.
