Marinated Carrot Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. sliced carrots
    1 can tomato soup, undiluted
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 cooking oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, sliced
Preparation
    Boil carrots until tender.
    Combine soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
    Simmer sauce uncovered for 20 minutes.
    In medium-size casserole layer the following:
    carrots, onions, pepper, and sauce.
    Repeat layers once more, ending with the sauce.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    May reheat to serve or may be served chilled.
