Italian Pasta Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground round or Italian sausage
1 large can Italian tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (with bits of pepper)
1 small can tomato paste (after using, fill with water and add too)
chopped onion to taste
chopped green pepper to taste
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
pinch of anise seed
1 tsp. sugar
pinch of baking soda
Preparation

Brown meat and drain.
Add onion and pepper.
Saute until tender.
Add all other ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer, adding water if necessary, for 3 hours. Serve with crusty bread and salad.
