Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    canned peaches, reserve juice
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar (heaping)
    1 c. juice
    3 to 4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Put peaches on bottom of greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Mix together shortening, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Spread this over the peaches.
    Mix sugar and juice.
    Pour over dough. Pour melted butter over the mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
