Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 slices bread, cut into cubes
    1 1/2 pt. milk (may need more to cover bread)
    6 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    sugar to taste (I like mine sweet)
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Put raisins in hot water to soak first; drain.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about an hour or more.
    Insert knife into center.
    If clean, it is finished.
    Before baking, place into a pan of water for baking.
