Butterscotch Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. maple flavoring
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. evaporated milk (do not substitute or dilute milk)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and margarine.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to mixture alternating with milk and flavoring.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
