Cacciatore Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onions, sliced thin
    1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, diced
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 c. red wine
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large skillet.
    Saute onions and mushrooms with garlic powder in margarine until onions are transparent. Add the remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Makes 2 cups.
