Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. pecans
    1 lb. orange candy slices
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
    1 small can Angel Flake coconut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 c. oleo, melted
Preparation
    Chop pecans, dates and candy slices.
    Add coconut.
    Pour melted oleo over mixture and let stand while preparing batter. Beat eggs; add sugar and then other ingredients.
    Mix well with fruit and candy.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
