Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white or yellow cake mix (I use Jiffy)
    1 large can cherry pie filling
    1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Pour cherry pie filling into an 8-inch glass pan or pie pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup cake mix.
    Pour 1/2 stick butter or margarine (melted) over all.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
