Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. Quick Quaker oats (do not use instant)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. lightly packed brown sugar
    1 stick soft margarine
    2 large or 3 medium eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3/4 c. walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl pour boiling water over oats.
    Let it stand for 10 minutes.
    Stir in sugar, brown sugar and soft margarine.
    Add eggs.
    Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa; add.
    Stir in half of the chocolate chips.
    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Spread remaining chips and walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped on top.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
    Cool before serving.
