Asparagus Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pastry shell (9-inch)
1 c. lean cooked ham, chopped
1/2 c. light cream
1/3 c. milk
3 eggs
1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
12 asparagus tips, cooked and drained
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Cover bottom of pastry shell with ham. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream, milk, eggs, grated cheese, salt and pepper.
Beat well.
Pour mixture over ham. Arrange asparagus tips on top, as if spokes of a wheel, tips in the center.
Bake in center of oven 35 to 40 minutes or until set and golden brown.
Serve hot or cold.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
