Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken breasts, split in half, or chicken thighs
    salt and pepper
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place chicken parts, skin side up, in dry roast pan.
    Roll loose skin under each piece.
    Place a thin pat of butter on each piece and salt and pepper generously.
    Bake for 1 hour, reversing pan after first half hour.
    Baste several times during baking with juice which accumulates.
    Juice may be used for gravy.
