Pear Pecan Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can pears
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Drain juice from pears and reserve 1 cup of liquid.
    Bring juice to a boil.
    Remove from heat and add lemon jello.
    Chill in a 9 x 13-inch pan until partially set.
    Blend pears and cream cheese until of creamy consistency.
    Stir in jello mixture.
    Add pecans.
    Whip cream and fold into mixture.
    Pour into mold or a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill.
