Company Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. lemon jello
1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks, drain and reserve liquid
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
3 bananas, sliced
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 pt. Cool Whip or other whipped topping
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Dissolve jello in 3 cups hot water. Cool. Add pineapple, marshmallows and bananas. Chill in a large flat dish until firm. Add flour and sugar to beaten egg.
Mix with juice from pineapple and cook until thick over medium heat, stirring constantly. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over gelatin. Sprinkle cheese and nuts over all. Cut into squares.
Serves 12.
