    1/2 c. cut-up celery stalks and leaves
    1 medium onion, sliced
    corn, cut from 6 to 8 cobs (can or 2 Niblets for deprived city dwellers)
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    4 Tbsp. cut-up parsley
    salt and pepper
    8 c. water, salted
    cream
