Fresh Pear Or Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
3 c. peeled and grated pears or apples
Preparation

Beat sugar and oil together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and mix well.
Sift together dry ingredients and mix with sugar/oil mixture.
Fold in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into three buttered and floured 9-inch layer pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
