Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 lb. round steak (thick)
    1/4 c. Wesson salad oil
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and pepper.
    Pound into both sides of meat. Brown meat in a small amount of Wesson oil. Remove browned meat from pan and cook onion until golden. Add water and tomato sauce. Stir until mixture thickens and boils. Return meat to pan. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Makes 6 servings.
