Pot Roast And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp. onion powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 large onion
    5 lb. pot roast
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3/4 c. water
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients; rub into roast.
    Brown roast on all sides in hot oil.
    Add water and next 6 ingredients.
    Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours or until tender.
    Remove from pan, reserving liquid in pan. Remove bay leaves; skim fat.
    Measure liquid; return to pan.
    Add in 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour and 2 tablespoons of water for each cup of liquid.
    Stir well.
    Stir flour mixture into liquid.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
