Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh or frozen squash
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 pkg. crumbled cheese crackers (I use Ritz)
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. grated cheese
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender; drain and mash. Beat together eggs and milk; add to squash. Mix cheese, oleo and cracker crumbs. Add 1/2 of this to casserole mixture. Put into buttered casserole and top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
