Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. lemon extract
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk or 2 Tbsp. vinegar and enough milk to make 1 c.
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add extract, then add 1 1/2 cups flour with soda and salt sifted in.
    Beat for 2 minutes.
    Add remaining flour with milk.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Pour into tube pan (greased and floured).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
