No Knead Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cakes compressed yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. scalded milk
2 eggs
6 to 7 c. flour
Preparation

Combine yeast cakes in water.
Stir to dissolve.
Place shortening, salt and sugar in a large bowl.
Add hot milk and stir until dissolved.
Cool to lukewarm, then add dissolved yeast. Stir in eggs.
Gradually mix in flour and beat until batter is smooth.
Add flour until dough does not cling to bowl.
Place in a greased bowl.
Chill 2 to 24 hours in refrigerator.
Make into rolls and let rise until doubled.
