Cake Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or 1 stick margarine or 1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Mix ingredients in order given.
Pour into a greased 10 x 15-inch pan.
Score into 24 servings.
Drop a teaspoon of pie filling in the center of each square.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
