Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. boiling water
5 Tbsp. strawberry jello
red food coloring
1 pt. grapefruit sections
1 pie crust, baked and cooled
whipped cream or Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch well.
Add 1 1/4 cups boiling water and cook until thick.
Remove from heat and add jello and red food coloring for more color.
Mix well and let cool.
Add grapefruit sections.
Pour into baked and cooled pie crust.
Add whipped cream before serving.
