Dudley'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. milk
    4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add baking powder, vanilla, milk and flour.
    Mix well.
    Roll into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet; flatten with fingers.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown around edges. Cookies are better if they are not brown on top.
    Yields about 4 1/2 dozen.
