Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 gal. popcorn
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil the brown sugar, Karo syrup, margarine and peanuts; remove from heat.
    Add soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Mix well and spread evenly in shallow pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes.
    Pour on waxed paper and break apart. Keeps for weeks in a covered container.
