Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    2 small boxes Jell-O (mixed fruit flavor)
    1 large can unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice, diluted
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 qt. ginger ale (per gal. punch)
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water for 3 minutes.
    Add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
    Add juices and pineapple.
    Freeze in gallon jugs. Thaw for 3 to 4 hours before serving.
    Add 2 quarts of ginger ale per gallon of punch at serving time.
