Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. short grain rice (River Rice)
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Put 4 cups milk, 1 cup water and rice in heavy pan on high heat; do not stir!
    Just before it is ready to boil, add 1/2 cup rice and stir.
    (Do not let come to boil before adding rice; will not thicken if it does.)
    Let boil on medium heat until rice is cooked, about 20 minutes.
    Beat altogether eggs, vanilla and milk. Stir into rice mixture and bring to boil.
    Cook for about a minute.
    Pour into Pyrex dish and top with cinnamon.
