Fresh Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 fresh peaches, sliced
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    cinnamon to sprinkle
Preparation
    Cream butter gradually adding sugar and eggs.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to butter alternately with milk.
    Put into buttered shallow square cake pan (8-inches). Cover with sliced peaches all over.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until toothpick comes out clean.
