Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted cake flour
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Rub flour, sugar and shortening (first 3) together until crumbly.
Reserve 1/2 cup of crumbs to sprinkle over top of cake. To rest, add last 5 ingredients.
Mix thoroughly.
Spread in greased cake pan, sprinkle crumbs over the top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
