Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cut green beans
    1 can English peas
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped red onion
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 small jar chopped pimento
    mushrooms and water chestnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Drain vegetables and pour into a bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well and let stand overnight.
