Dark Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking soda
    pinch of salt
    6 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 c. hot water
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan or Bundt pan.
    Sift first 5 ingredients together in large mixing bowl.
    Melt Crisco in 2 cups hot water.
    Beat eggs in medium size bowl.
    Continue to beat slowly while pouring liquid slowly into eggs.
    Pour liquid through sieve into dry ingredients.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix until well blended.
    Bake for approximately 45 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Frost with fluffy white icing.
    Garnish with crushed peppermint stick (optional).
