7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1 small pkg. petite peas, thawed
    5 hard-cooked eggs, grated
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    bacon bits
    garlic salt
    approximately 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Layer the lettuce, celery, onion, peas, eggs, bacon bits and mayonnaise.
    Seal mayonnaise to edge of bowl.
    Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt and top with grated cheese.
    Cover in refrigerator for 6 to 12 hours before serving.
