Beef Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round
    1/4 c. shortening, oil or margarine
    2 c. onion
    1/2 minced garlic clove
    1 Tbsp. curry powder
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 beef bouillon cube
Preparation
    Cut meat into bite-size cubes and dredge through flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown in oil.
    Add onion and garlic and saute until brown.
    Add to crock-pot with remaining ingredients.
    Cook on low while you are at work.
    Serve over rice with diced hard-boiled eggs, diced cucumber, crumbled bacon, raisins, diced apples and chopped onion.
