1 1/2 c. sugar
2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream
2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut (only kind that will work)
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Prepare cake mix according to package directions, making two layers.
Bake; when completely cool, split both layers.
